Watch the bird activity, sail boats floating by or better yet take the short trail to the waters edge, you can take a beach walk or dig clams right by your cabin. Fabulous brand new home in "The Cottages" a lovely selection of Craftsman style homes at the base of Bell Hill. It is a gracious neighborhood within a neighborhood just a short walk from Cedarbrook Herb Farm. This Cottage features maple floors (no shoes please), siltstone counters, propane fireplace and top of the line finishes for your retreat to Sequim. French doors lead from the dining area to the patio with views of the surrounding meadows. On a clear day you will see Protection Island, the Strait of Juan De Fuca, and MT Baker. The kitchen is a gourmets dream. It is well stocked and open to the living area so you can be part of the fun. We have thought of everything from high speed internet, CD/IPOD player, 32-inch LCD/HDTV, DVDs, and games in our den, to down comforters, 600 thread count sheets, and over sized bath sheets to keep you cozy. Gas grill on patio. Our master suite includes a king sleep number bed (you can choose your own number!), double sinks and a separate "private" area. Wonderful asian styled guest house shares property (and the beach) with the main house "Dock Of The Bay". A favorite spot at this house is the deep covered porch which over looks the gardens between it and the main house. Trees surround you for privacy,and a feeling of a real get a way. The one bedroom has a queen bed and patio door to the wrap around deck. There is also a twin bed in the main living space. Skylights add extra light and a wood stove provides cozy heat in the winter. The bathroom has a shower and also hosts the laundry facilities. TV/VCR, no cable so no reception. No telephone. Pets allowed upon approval. A guest comment: We are back home on Cortes Island. This is just to let you know that we had a very enjoyable time visiting Sequim and the surroundings. The Tea House was the perfect place to stay, we liked it very much.
