Snuggled right on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Summer Sun has a big beachfront deck for morning coffee and evening candlelight dinners. the deck is also perfect for watching seagulls hunt, marvel at the huge freighters coming and going to Seattle, or enjoy the still-working New Dungeness Lighthouse. The back of the house features a fully-fenced grass yard and a separate picnic deck with unobstructed views of the Olympic Mountains. All this in Sequim, Washington! Known for our sunny days and lavender farms, art, antique stores, fun restaurants, good golfing, and a neighborly atmosphere. Summer Sun has three bedrooms/two baths, a kitchen ready to make everything from beach snacks to a gourmet dinner, and a propane fireplace for cozy nights. And there is another activity that Summer Sun inspires - to sit quietly and maybe to read. In our crazy world, we invite you to come for the sheer pleasure --- of doing nothing. This home is currently for sale. We would be happy to help you buy it for yourself or to share with others. We are accepting reservations at this time. Rental Information Discount of 10% for stays of 10 or more nights. A minimum stay of two nights is required. Three nights minimum stay in July and August - please contact us to inquire about shorter stays. Off season monthly rates are available for November 1 through April 30 are also available. Monthly rates are for 4 weeks (28 nights). One time cleaning fee is based on vacation rental size and capacity. All vacation rentals are no smoking. Some vacation rentals allow pets with an additional non-refundable pet fee and restrictions apply - please contact us concerning all pets. Long distance phone usage is at the renters expense. Fire wood and housekeeping are available through Groveland Cottage B&B for an additional fee. Reservations can be held with a major credit card including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. All cancellations are subject to a $75 cancellation fee.  All cancellations within one month of check-in are subject to a 50% refund. All rates are in USD and subject to 8.4% sales tax and 2.0% room tax. A valid drivers license and credit card must be presented at check-in. A rental agreement contract must be signed at check-in.
