My family (spouse, me and 3 kids) stayed here for three nights in July. The property is lovely, very accurate to the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and it was immaculately clean. It worked out great for us.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Sequim is an adorable town and the house location is great! We explored the town, visited the Dungeness Spit, and hiked all over Olympic National Park. The house has great amenities.

Our family had a wonderful stay! Inside was nicer than expected with comfortable beds, furniture and lots of amenities. Great location to drive to Olympic Nat Pk. We enjoyed breakfast every morning with ocean views. Saw Beautiful sunsets and enjoyed the cool mornings and evenings.

This is a great house with 3 nice bedrooms and 2 bathrooms-a nice big kitchen -well stocked!! Very quiet neighborhood but close to the main town and the routes to the National Park. Perfect for us-we would stay here again!

Hurricane Ridge can be reached in about 15 minutes and the Elwha Valley and Sol Duc in an hour. The house is small and charming (we love older homes) lots of character. There is no outside space besides the lawn - no place to dine outdoors, only two low beach chairs. If you are looking for a base camp to explore the Peninsula, this is a great choice. Washer and dryer in the basement is a plus. Overall, we enjoyed our two week stay.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. Read reviews about the steps, and all I have to say is: this cabin is called "Hikers Haven" and the steps set the expectation. I do not recommend navigating the steps severely intoxicated or if you have weak ankles, but in all other instances- they are fine. We arrived right at the start of a painfully gross heat wave and despite all expectations to the contrary, this little cabin was a refuge from the heat. We went down to the water, laid on the dock, and jumped in the lake. The water was warm but incredibly refreshing. There were fun little noodles and lounge chairs (straight up 80's style)-we had a blast in the water. I don't remember if anyone else talked about the kitchen, but it was great. There was only a toaster oven, which we used, and a *tiny* two-man ,one-cup coffee pot. Everything else that you could possibly want or need was provided in the kitchen, so meals were pretty easy. In my view, this was a five star spot to stay. It reminded me of camp when I was a kid-has all of the essentials, is comfortable, beautiful, and scenic beyond belief. Everything was clean and orderly (damn near immaculate) when we arrived, but there was a slight aged odor and a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the loft. We did use Netflix to watch Tv at night, but the internet is not great in that area and there was a lot of lag. If there is any idea of having a "working vacation" this is not a viable place for that. Waking up every morning to the sight of tree branches above, a lake of glass, a local eagle, and multitudes of butterflies flitting (dancing?) above the deck, the stairs, the shed and the dock created a feeling of pure tranquility. We haven't been that happy or relaxed in a long, long time. Five stars. Absolute bliss. Completely serene.

We had a great time staying here as a family for 4 nights. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Sitting on the porch and enjoying the quiet was our favorite part! We will definitely be back.

Great cabin! Very cozy with a nice deck overlooking the bay.

We can't even express how beautiful the sunsets were from the house. The neighbors were really nice. The house was really clean and comfortable. It was nice to sit by the fence and in the house and watch the cruise ships and birds go by. The sound of the waves were helpful going to sleep at night. The house is close to so many things to do too, whether it be hiking or just sight seeing! Simone was really good about taking calls from us if we needed anything too.

This is in a fantastic location with access to a lot of outdoor activities but still close to Port Angeles for services. Large front yard with a small stream and trees - we had a large group of deer spend lunch with us in the front yard. The space was clean and well equipped and we appreciated the dishwasher and full laundry space. We used the outside gas grill and front porch which worked well for nice weather days. The host provided all the information we needed. Thanks for a great stay.

My partner, dog and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at the property. The house was in a great location and had everything we needed to relax, cook and enjoy ourselves when not exploring the Olympic National Park. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a quaint weekend away from the city.

Accurate to the listing. The bottle of wine was a nice touch and the location was perfect. Walking to the beach was perfect for the sunset and the weather was perfect during the stay.

The Rose Cottage is one of our favorite little private escapes, with easy access from Seattle. It is close to the Olympic Discovery Trail, if you are looking for a nice ride into Port Angeles and back. The hot tub is private and perfect for two. You will love it.

This home was absolutely lovely! You can't get better views in the morning. Wake up and walk down to not one, not two, but THREE different vistas with chairs to sit and watch the beautiful sunrise. The home was spacious and clean, plenty of large towels for the fabulous hot tub, and a well-stocked kitchen! Highly recommended, especially since we mistakenly threw out a bag of belongings and they are kind enough to try and locate them for us. Simone is a rockstar!

This place is STUNNING! That private beach access is super unique and romantic. You have great access to Olympic National Park and various trails within the area. We took the Bainbridge Ferry in from Seattle and only had to drive an hour to the property. We will be staying here again. Super clean, great internet, full stock kitchen, bedrooms were great. 10/10

Beautiful location!

Super comfy beds! Awesome shower and hot tub. The sunsets behind the mountains were superb, especially from the hot tub! Being disabled, I wish the beach was closer than what it appears in the listing. Other than that, this is a cute little place.
