Description

Charming older home in the heart of Port Angeles close to shopping, the hospital, the YMCA, the city pool, and much more! Available for short term or monthly stays. Ideal for temporary housing while you are looking for a more permanent home in our beautiful area, or coming for temporary assignment.  This would also be a very good choice!

Delightful place to be in with high ceilings, plenty of light, and comfortably furnished.  There are three bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with a tub and separate shower.  One bedroom has a queen bed.  The second bedroom has a full sized bed.  The third bedroom has a hide-a-bed and is set up as an office.  The home is on a double lot with lots of fruit trees and garden space for you to enjoy.

Swains is close by: A great old-fashioned general store that has everything but groceries -  like the mercantile of old times.  You are just couple blocks walk to the Olympic Discovery Trail.  Our walking/biking trail that will take you down to the waterfront.  The Discovery Trail runs from Port Angeles to Port Townsend if you are looking to explore!  Being in Port Angeles, it is easy to get to all the west end attractions, like Sol duc Hot Springs, Salt Creek (where they have great tide pools), the Elwah Valley for great hiking, Lake Sutherland and Lake Crescent.

5 star Peaceful house with both a living room and a small study--good for giving people different spaces to hang out. Very comfortable beds. House is close to a park and it was easy to walk to the waterfront. Seeing a young buck nibbling in the front yard was extra!

Hurricane Ridge can be reached in about 15 minutes and the Elwha Valley and Sol Duc in an hour. The house is small and charming (we love older homes) lots of character. There is no outside space besides the lawn - no place to dine outdoors, only two low beach chairs. If you are looking for a base camp to explore the Peninsula, this is a great choice. Washer and dryer in the basement is a plus. Overall, we enjoyed our two week stay.

This house is really cute and sits on a nice sized property. The beds are comfy. It is located near the docks and downtown area. However, it is located on a busy corner across from an automotive repair shop so by 8 am it is very noisy and didn't quiet down until the evening. Then as we were sitting outside to enjoy the night air, we noticed a number of people who are living in tents in the park next to the property walking back and forth along the edge of the property. Not knowing much about the homeless situation in Port Angeles, We didn't know how safe it was to be outside at night.

Convenient location positioned between downtown Port Angeles (~10min walk) and the visitor center of Olympic National Park. Definitely an older kitchen / style to the home but had it was clean and had everything we needed for our brief trip to Port Angeles! Master bed was comfortable and towels were soft!

The house was a great base for exploring the Olympic peninsula. It was very comfortable and the host had it well stocked with toiletries, kitchen equipment, etc. The home is on the older side but well maintained and comfortably furnished. It was great for our family of three for a long weekend and easy walking distance to downtown Port Angeles. We had some issues with communication leading into the visit (listing said it accepted pets but then didn't, confusing check-in emails, incorrect information about the wifi, and then (+24 hour) delayed responses from the host to correct) but it sounds like we were one of their first Airbnb customers so hopefully those kinks will work out in the future. Be aware of the refund policy - fairly harsh by airbnb standards and limited our trip flexibility. Other than that, a great stay.
