Welcome to the Dungeness Bungalows at 3 Crabs Road! Newly updated, this luxury duplex provides two private units, each with their own hot tub, nestled between the Salish Sea and the Helen’s Pond nature preserve. It is the ideal location for nature lovers, photographers, birdwatchers, and anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. There are separate fenced and shared outdoor spaces.
Bungalow #271
#271 is entered through the center courtyard. While not beachfront, it offers peak-a-boo water views from the bedrooms and private patio.
#271 sleeps up to 5 people. There are two comfortable bedrooms, the first with a king size bed and a single day bed, and the other with a queen bed. There is one bathroom with a washer and dryer. In the kitchen, you’ll find high end appliances and a large table with plenty of seating for meals, or room to spread out a puzzle or board game. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of local wine and watch your favorite show or movie on the 50 inch streaming TV in the living room.
There is beach access through a gate in the backyard. Follow the private path all the way to the shore and take in the majestic views of the New Dungeness Lighthouse, the Strait of Juan de Fuca shipping lanes, and Mt. Baker. This is a perfect beach for enjoying your morning cup of coffee at the water’s edge. You can explore the mud flats during low tide, and take a sunset stroll down the sand. You can even bring your own kayak or SUP. Out of respect for our neighbors, we kindly ask that you do not settle or participate in loud beach activities close to the other houses.
While the Dungeness Bungalows may be new to the rental market, its owners are familiar with the vacation rental industry. We are also the owners of Enchanted Cove and The Farmhouse, two popular properties in the Sequim Valley Vacation Rental family. We love vacationing at our properties ourselves, we love sharing them with others, and we are committed to bringing you a high level of comfort and hospitality.

The house is charming clean and well kept. The location is close to the downtown area with bars and restaurants in walking distance. The neighborhood seems to be in flux.

We had a few small problems (water was turned off when we arrived) but we called the emergency number and they were very responsive and helpful and took care of it right away. The hot tub was also not working, but they communicated in advance and offered many solutions for us, which I really appreciate. It was a nice stay and a good location. We enjoyed walking on the beach. Kitchen was well stocked. Everything was great.

We had very nice time staying at Dungeness Bungalows #271. The property is fully and nicely renovated, cosy but comfortable and close to the town. We enjoyed our walks on the beach and eating at the local restaurant.

Dungeness Bungalow was a nice, clean place for our family to stay. The ocean view was mostly blocked by a neighbor, but the place is nicely furnished with all the necessary supplies. Mostly unremarkable for the cost.

Absolutely loved our stay here and look forward to returning again! Everything was top notch as far as location, amenities, style (and oh, my goodness, the blankets!). The beach access was convenient though we waited for low tides to venture down as to not disturb the view of those that had beach front property. Already planning my next trip :)

I recently spent two days at Dungeness Bungalows #271. I was very impressed with this rental as it was not lacking in comfort nor quality. Nestled between the Olympic Mountains and the Salish Sea the Bungalow has it all with beautiful views of the mountains, private access to the beach and a nice patio with a barbecue. The unit I stayed in is beautifully and whimsically decorated as well as being very comfortable. The kitchen is full of high end appliances and big enough for two or more cooks. The room I stayed in had a comfy king bed and a peek-a-boo view of the Sequim Lighthouse. With just a two minute walk down a well-maintained path from the back yard I was on the beach and enjoying that as well. The first night there I was able to see a stunning sunset from the Bungalow which made my stay that much more special. If you are looking for a wonderful and relaxing getaway this is it. I plan on a return visit and highly recommend it here!
