We had an awesome long weekend getaway with our two dogs. Dungeness Recreation Area is a perfect place to walk with the dogs and do some birding. Great takeout food in Sequim. It was lovely to see the resident deer every day too. The house was comfortable, bed was really comfortable. Nice hike down to the beach where it is so peaceful. It was just the two of us this time but we would love to come back with our family. Super easy host. Everything worked perfect. Thank You!

The property was just as described, but even better. It's right at the base of Dungeness Spit. If you ignored the signs, you could walk down the steps and along the shore at low tide to walk right onto the Spit. The views are beautiful. You can see right over the Strait to the lights of Victoria, BC. And on the road the property is on are tons of deer, just lounging around eating grass and bushes like they own the place.

This location and property was not just what we expected, but better. The view from the patio and through the large windows is phenomenal. The private entrance down to the beach is fun for a evening or morning activity. The interior of the home was clean and well supplied with what we needed for cooking. The weather was so beautiful we used the bbq grill both nights we were there and enjoyed, what felt like, our private corner of the world. We saw so many different sites in Olympic and this location was good for that. I would recommend this to any friend or family traveling to the area.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful property. What a tranquil relaxing space.
Highly recommend this space. Beautiful and relaxing. Feels very secluded. Fireplace not currently working due to a current propane shortage. If you have the chance to stay here, definitely do.

We had a great experience at this property! The house was exactly as described, and the view was amazing! The deck is the length of the house with a spectacular view, and you can hear the waves crashing on the shore of the spit. The house is set back in the trees, so it's private and quiet. You have everything you need for meals at the house with a fully furnished kitchen. The house has a TV, books, games, and toys to keep children entertained. It is less than a 10 minute drive to the Dungeness Spit trailhead, and a 10-15 drive to downtown Sequim. This is the perfect house to spend time with family or get away to disconnect. The place being pet friendly was a bonus so we could take the family dogs with us. 5 stars, would definitely recommend!

we had a wonderful time. the cabin has a stellar view, kitchen is small but well equipped, we ate all our meals in, which is a first for us, sunset dinners from the table. We saw a doe and her fawn and many birds. the cabin showes its age but it doesn't matter the sound of waves lull you to sleep and sunrise greets you in the morning if you leave the bedroom curtains open. I will enjoy returning to 10000 waves.

We wanted a little socially distanced getaway and this place was perfect. Not too far from Sequim, it was easy to find. But at the same time, it felt miles away from the stress of the pandemic. The place was clean and well maintained. But let me tell you about the view! Amazing. We sat on the deck for hours each day and just relaxed. We left the master bedroom sliding glass door open at night so we could hear the waves. Amenities were great. We cooked on the gas grill one night. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of space. I would recommend bringing some rain boots or something for walking to the spit. The mud is pretty thick and there is no way around it. But you definitely want to walk out to the spit! Overall, we had a great time and are already planning our next visit and will rent this same place again.

A truly incredible weekend getaway for myself and my husband. Needed to leave the city after an onset of asthma, and this place could not have been more healing. Peaceful, quiet, cozy, and stunning views. Incredible access to nature, the wildlife refuge, bird watching.... I could go on and on. Literally got to sit and watch an eagle who had perched a couple feet from the deck for hours! (Dont miss the walk to the lighthouse - tough but worth it!) 100/100 fantastic experience all around!

Simone and Kim, you were extremely accommodating and wonderful. Thank you!!!
We had an amazing stay and didn't want to leave. The house was clean. The walk down to the beach was quite convenient and beautiful, although we can see how it may be difficult for the elderly or those with disabilities. On a clear day we could even see Canada from the deck.

Everything was very clean and comfortable! We used this as our base to drive into the National Park which means we were gone quite a bit (lots of driving). Wish we had more time just to relax at the cabin and enjoy!
