Description
One of our most popular vacation homes. This log home is nestled in a grove of cedars right on the edge of Sequim Bay. Watch the bird activity and sail boats floating by. This cabin is situated a few steps from the Discovery Trail; you can walk or bring your bikes. The trail goes east as far as 7 Cedars Casino or west beyond Port Angeles. There are two bedrooms, queen and double. The couch in the living room is a full-sized sleeper sofa. The living room, kitchen and dining area are one large great room allowing for easy conversation while meals are being prepared. The deck has a wonderful hot tub for relaxing while breathing in the salty air as the water jets soothe your tired muscles from the day's hike in nearby Olympic National Park. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, DVD. We have Roku and internet access TV, but not cable channels. Sequim Bay State Park is next door and is available for day use. NOTE: 4WD Vehicles may be required for access to the cabin during winter season. Please inquire before booking, thank you.

We're sorry that the walk to the beach is no longer available and hope there's a way to renovate/upgrade the path in the future. Otherwise, this was our fifth visit and the first since COVID; it was great to come back and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Our family loved staying at this cabin. The kids loved going down to the beach, but it was a treacherous journey down and they no longer advertise it as accessible from the cabin. We also loved the beautiful deck. It is about an hour drive to Olympic National Park but we still headed there multiple times during our 6-day stay, as well as a day in Port Townsend/the Puget Sound.

We had a wonderful 4th holiday weekend stay at this fine little cabin in Sequim. It was perfect for our family of four, the kitchen was very well equipped and that view from the spacious deck was outstanding. Highly recommend this property, just a lovely getaway.

This cabin was the perfect, quiet getaway for a long birthday weekend. The changing view of the bay throughout the day was a breathtaking backdrop. We enjoyed the native plants on the grounds and taking our dogs down to the rocky shore to explore. We would definitely love to return for another stay in the future.

Great cabin with everything what you need it. The view of the water was amazing. Seen lots of seals out on the water and a bald eagle. Private beach where you can go and explore small creatures like crabs or star fish. The hot tub was a plus to our stay. This was our honeymoon and we made great memories enjoying Sequim and the Olympic National Park. Definitely recommend this cabin to anyone.

We had a great time staying here on a spontaneous weekend getaway! The view cannot be beat. The jacuzzi is pristine and gives such a beautiful view of the woodsy area and looking out over the water. Loved the claw foot tub as well. The place was well-cleaned, and the lighting and extra blankets made everything so cozy. It felt like we were tucked away in the woods. The trail down to the water/beach wasnt accessible because a pipe routing a stream was broken and so the water flooded the path making it too muddy/puddly to walk through without some serious rain boots. BUT, the view was beautiful enough to take in from the giant front windows or from the deck and hot tub. So gorgeous.

We loved this property and the original cabin feel. Our children loved the beach, just be ready to climb down and back up from the steps - its worth it. The hot tub was non working during our stay which was a very high point for the children in chilly season; however, we were able to resolve this the last 3 days of our stay in a separate cabin ( equally amazing ). One thing that can never be topped is the sunrise peaking over the mountains and bay each morning. My family and I very much enjoyed our stay and working with sequim valley rentals to make our long travel cozy and beautiful.

Overall loved the property - beautiful view, the cedar smell was amazing, and the hot tub was lovely. Would have loved a warning in the listing about the driveway - its a bit steep and gravel - which can be tricky for those not used to it - but not a deal breaker.

We had a great time at Bayside Cedars. It is a cute rustic cabin and was just what we were looking for, very relaxing!
