One of our most popular vacation homes. This log home is nestled in a grove of cedars right on the edge of Sequim Bay. Watch the bird activity and sail boats floating by or better yet take the short trail to the waters edge. You can take a beach walk or dig clams (when in season) right by your cabin. This cabin is situated a few steps from the Discovery Trail; you can walk or bring your bikes. The trail goes east as far as 7 Cedars Casino or west beyond Port Angeles. There are two bedrooms, queen and double. The couch in the living room is a full-sized sleeper sofa.  The living room, kitchen and dining area are one large great room allowing for easy conversation while meals are being prepared. The deck has a wonderful hot tub for relaxing while breathing in the salty air as the water jets soothe your tired muscles from the day's hike in nearby Olympic National Park. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, DVD. We have Roku and internet access TV, but not cable channels. Sequim Bay State Park is next door and is available for day use.  NOTE:  4WD Vehicles may be required for access to the cabin during winter season.  Please inquire before booking, thank you.

PET POLICY: This is a pet friendly home & pets are only accepted with applicable pet fee per pet (Limit 2) & prior agreement the terms stated in our ‘Pet Policy’. Please contact Sequim Valley Properties regarding pet acceptance prior to booking & to receive a full copy of our ‘Pet Policy’.

This is a small perfectly placed cabin with all that you need to have a beautiful visit. The view of the bay is gorgeous. The trees providing plenty of privacy are close and lovely. The kitchen is well equipped and the hot tub is clean and well situated on the front deck. This was our second stay there and we will definitely go back again.

Cute place to stay right by the water! Great hot tub that overlooks the bay. Beautiful views right from the living room and porch. Even has a little trail down to the beach. Great location to explore Olympic National Park or to just enjoy Sequim Bay. We really enjoyed our stay at Bayside Cedars!

We originally booked this lovely cabin for a Lavender Festival retired couple with dog getaway. When the festival was canceled we added our 3 grandkids, ages 15, 11 & 7. The view, hot tub, location right off the bike trail next to the state park & short drive to Sequim activities created a great weekend for everyone. We wandered the Saturday market, took the kids to the Olympic Game Park & my husband played pickleball with the locals. The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes & utensils needed to cook bake for our crowd. We loved exploring the beach, but would recommend avoiding the on-site trail & instead walk to the park access. As others noted, it is very precarious. We wound down evenings with a soak in the hot tub followed by movies & popcorn.

Loved Bayside Cedars! Cozy cottage, the living room is awesome and we appreciated the fast internet and smart TV. The queen bed is like a marshmallow! Very fluffy and soft. Loved the deck furniture we had a great time relaxing there and in the hot tub. Hot tub is very nice. Access to the beach was a major plus, the trail does take a bit to navigate but if you go slow and steady youll be fine. A note to smell sensitive folks, the cottage does come with an older home smell that persists. Once we acclimated we did not notice but could bother some people. The listing does show a washing machine but as far as we could tell there is not one. Location is close to everything, checkout Dockside Grill / the marina! We had a great time!

Although other reviews mentioned the road or other houses, the cabin felt extremely private as far as I was concerned! A beautiful view of the water and surrounding trees.

The absolute best location! We were in the mountains in the snow on Hurricane Ridge and at the beach the same day! Absolutely loved this little cabin on the water. The hottub was sparkling clean! The house was perfect for our little family of four and our doggie. Highly recommend! We hope to return!

Clean, comfortable, and an incredible view of the ocean. Easy to access Port Townsend/Angeles, as well as explore the Sequim/Dungeness area. Backgammon under the sun, with the calming surf and birds was very tranquil.

This was everything we needed! If youre looking for a peaceful escape look no further. The photos dont do it justice; the view, the trees, the skylights... everything was dreamy. We will definitely be back!

This little cabin is quaint with great views. We brought our dogs and had to lift them up and down to the beach. Beach access is a little tricky but an able body using caution shouldnt have a problem. We were here during clam digging season and gathered and steamed up a nice haul. I started reading a book from the sideboard and it was such a page-turner I had to buy it when I got home so I could finish it. Games on hand include cards, chess, backgammon, parcheesi, and a couple of other standards. For anyone who requires a firm mattress, be warned, the bed is extremely soft! Wifi was touch and go and road noise is a little bit of a bummer but not enough to dissuade us from choosing to stay here again. It was delightful and relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cedars cabin! We were looking for somewhere near the beach that had a hot tub, and both of those wants were met beautifully. The beach access trail is definitely not for everyone, but we thought it was a lot of fun.

It's a peaceful getaway in a great location with a relaxing view. The accommodations are simple but complete and very clean. The beach on the property was a lot of fun for the kids to explore and the trail access was great. The host was very kind. I would stay here again.

Wonderful location and property was just as described. Would be nice if a small arrow indicacator to water was placed by door (in binder, but didnt read immediately). Our son did react to pet dander - cabin was very clean, so maybe its furniture or blankets? A new comfy seat in den would be a nice addition. Overall - would recommend fully!

The cabin was in a quiet, beautiful area surrounded by trees and beautiful views of the bay. We loved the trail nearby being able to take walks on the beach. This was a perfect peaceful gateway for us to work remotely during the week. Would highly recommend.

Really lovely cabin tucked away near the West Elwha trailhead. It was a perfect, serene getaway. A herd of elk passed by one morning and a couple deer the next, both of which I enjoyed watching from the deck over a cup of coffee. Highly recommended.

Guys..this place is truly a gem! Close to the 101 highway, but you truly couldnt tell as it was still quaint and quiet at the house. The kitchen is fully stocked which was a plus, and the hot tub is amazing! We loved the views and the ambiance of the home. We saw from a previous review to bring your own drinking water, so we did that as well. Honestly, if you can get your hands in this place, DO IT.
