One of our most popular vacation homes. This log home is nestled in a grove of cedars right on the edge of Sequim Bay. Watch the bird activity and sail boats floating by. This cabin is situated a few steps from the Discovery Trail; you can walk or bring your bikes. The trail goes east as far as 7 Cedars Casino or west beyond Port Angeles. There are two bedrooms, queen and double. The couch in the living room is a full-sized sleeper sofa.  The living room, kitchen and dining area are one large great room allowing for easy conversation while meals are being prepared. The deck has a wonderful hot tub for relaxing while breathing in the salty air as the water jets soothe your tired muscles from the day's hike in nearby Olympic National Park. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, DVD. We have Roku and internet access TV, but not cable channels. Sequim Bay State Park is next door and is available for day use.  NOTE:  4WD Vehicles may be required for access to the cabin during winter season.  Please inquire before booking, thank you.

Although other reviews mentioned the road or other houses, the cabin felt extremely private as far as I was concerned! A beautiful view of the water and surrounding trees.

The absolute best location! We were in the mountains in the snow on Hurricane Ridge and at the beach the same day! Absolutely loved this little cabin on the water. The hottub was sparkling clean! The house was perfect for our little family of four and our doggie. Highly recommend! We hope to return!

Clean, comfortable, and an incredible view of the ocean. Easy to access Port Townsend/Angeles, as well as explore the Sequim/Dungeness area. Backgammon under the sun, with the calming surf and birds was very tranquil.

really cute place! my friends and I enjoyed the getaway immensely. warm, plenty of space for the four of us, right down the road from anything you could want to visit- will definitely be coming back soon!

We had a great stay. The home was very well-kept and extremely clean. We loved the views and sense of privacy from the beach and deck area. It was apparent the owner took extra effort to make it comfortable and welcoming for guests.

This was everything we needed! If youre looking for a peaceful escape look no further. The photos dont do it justice; the view, the trees, the skylights... everything was dreamy. We will definitely be back!

This little cabin is quaint with great views. We brought our dogs and had to lift them up and down to the beach. Beach access is a little tricky but an able body using caution shouldnt have a problem. We were here during clam digging season and gathered and steamed up a nice haul. I started reading a book from the sideboard and it was such a page-turner I had to buy it when I got home so I could finish it. Games on hand include cards, chess, backgammon, parcheesi, and a couple of other standards. For anyone who requires a firm mattress, be warned, the bed is extremely soft! Wifi was touch and go and road noise is a little bit of a bummer but not enough to dissuade us from choosing to stay here again. It was delightful and relaxing.

My 14 year old daughter and I had the best time! The views were spectacular, the cabin had everything that we needed, and the location was perfect. We definitely hope to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cedars cabin! We were looking for somewhere near the beach that had a hot tub, and both of those wants were met beautifully. The beach access trail is definitely not for everyone, but we thought it was a lot of fun.

It's a peaceful getaway in a great location with a relaxing view. The accommodations are simple but complete and very clean. The beach on the property was a lot of fun for the kids to explore and the trail access was great. The host was very kind. I would stay here again.

Wonderful location and property was just as described. Would be nice if a small arrow indicacator to water was placed by door (in binder, but didnt read immediately). Our son did react to pet dander - cabin was very clean, so maybe its furniture or blankets? A new comfy seat in den would be a nice addition. Overall - would recommend fully!

The cabin was in a quiet, beautiful area surrounded by trees and beautiful views of the bay. We loved the trail nearby being able to take walks on the beach. This was a perfect peaceful gateway for us to work remotely during the week. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely little cabin. It was so nice to dish in the hot tub, with the view and Eagles flying over. Enjoyed the beach, quiet and private.

Really lovely cabin tucked away near the West Elwha trailhead. It was a perfect, serene getaway. A herd of elk passed by one morning and a couple deer the next, both of which I enjoyed watching from the deck over a cup of coffee. Highly recommended.

Guys..this place is truly a gem! Close to the 101 highway, but you truly couldnt tell as it was still quaint and quiet at the house. The kitchen is fully stocked which was a plus, and the hot tub is amazing! We loved the views and the ambiance of the home. We saw from a previous review to bring your own drinking water, so we did that as well. Honestly, if you can get your hands in this place, DO IT.

I stayed here with my 2.5-year old daughter and wife over the holidays. Beautiful house with a hot tub and a great view of the water. My daughter loved going down and playing on the beach. Location is great; close to local attractions like Dungeness Spit and Hurrican Ridge. Would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our time here! Great views from the hot tub, great takeout from sequim just a short drive away, and great access to some completely empty hiking trails in the Olympics.

A true snug cabin with a lovely view of Sequim bay. The cabin was very clean, as was the hot tub. There is no dishwasher or washer and dryer which wasnt optimal for traveling with an infant.

Overall good experience. Loved the totally private area. Driveway is steep, trail is very steep, beach is accessible but not easy. Woodside is shown in pics, is gone (big letdown) also, virtual assistant answered that there was a washer and dryer, there isn't. Lastly, there is a mildew issue, wood sealer and keeping heat up higher during non use will help. Overall though it was very nice. Thank you! We would book again!

great place to stay, very clean inside. we stayed at the beginning of fall and had lots of leaves. the only complaint would be the outdoor furniture needs a little attention(mildew and dirty). the hot tub was very clean and well serviced. very pleasant experience.
